Our client, a market leading consumer goods manufacturer in Northampton, has experienced double digit growth over the last 10 years and gained an enviable reputation for service, quality and innovation within the Retail sector. This continued growth has resulted in the creation of the position of Finance Business Partner.
Reporting to the FD and working closely with the Senior Leadership team, you will provide financial and commercial support to the wider organisation in order to challenge and drive performance. The role will focus heavily on medium to long-term strategy and opportunity, whilst maintaining an eye on day-to-day commercial performance and offers a fast track route to become Finance Director in a 2-3 year period.
Key deliverables will include:
- Ability to provide world-class Business Partnering to the Commercial and Supply Chain Directors.
- Managing, leading & developing a team of Analysts to support the role and work cross functionally to deliver value.
- Connecting with day-to-day activities whilst maintaining a clear focus on longer term strategic objectives and priorities.
- Effectively using data to drive decision-making and action, delivering clarity and support to internal customers.
- Standing ‘toe to toe’ with Leadership Team Directors to influence and support business decisions.

- Ambitious, qualified finance professional looking for rapid development - career path to FD in 2-3 years.
