Job description
My client, operating a niche market successfully is searching for a Finance Business Partner to join its Senior team in Warrington. You will cover all aspects of Financial Support to the Northern operations, combining the financial insight, analysis and reporting of the respective business with the needs of operational management to ensure overall business objectives are being met. The role: provide decision support activities to the relevant business management; support the sales and tender process as required by providing relevant pricing and costing information; provide governance into the overall sales decision process ensuring the sales activities are aligned to their short and long-term planning objectives; provide regional annual operating plan and other estimations as required; prepare analytical review of regional performance and report to Regional Managers; assist with the identification of actions required to improve regional results; identify the key performance indicators relevant to the operating being supported and ensure there is a balanced scorecard approach to the measurement of performance in the area; carry out general accounting duties if required; achieve agreed objectives and targets; become integrated with regional management and be part of key decision-making within the region; communicate effectively and build business relationships with all key stakeholders; interpret and present data to management and answer queries; provide explanations on regional financial performance. You will be a fully qualified Accountant or equivalent. You will have strong, solid experience as a Management Accountant within a sales and service or manufacturing sector. You will be a strong communicator and have proven experience of building effective relationships with non-financial Managers.
