Job description
Our Client, a leading bank, is currently seeking a high calibre Qualified Accountant to join their Investment Banking Division as a Financial Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to assist in providing direct support to the business units assisting in the analysis, planning and forecasting of its balance sheet, liquidity and capital requirements. Responsibilities will include: assisting in the production and enhancement of the management information and analysis providing BS&C profiling, forecasting, planning & budgeting across the division; be proactive in the development of the balance sheet and capital forecasting models for the business (including stress testing), working closely with both the business and risk where appropriate; assist in the production of frequent variance analysis reports of the) - actuals, accompanied by knowledge and application of product/market behaviours as well as business strategy to produce desk level BS&C predictive MI as requested by Division; produce impact analysis including scenario analysis; proactively manage stakeholder relationships creating strong partnerships across the business. The ideal candidate will be a qualified/part qualified accountant with relevant experience gained within another leading bank or FTSE 100 Company and will be a strong team player and have good communication, stakeholder management and business partnering skills. They will also have strong IT skills including: Excel and SAP.
