Job description

An Environmental Charity is currently seeking a dynamic Finance Coordinator. The post includes direct line management of one member of the team: Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive & team Administrator. Responsible for the office management; assist with the behaviour change to team to produce funding claims; produce debtor invoices & mail to funders and partners; ensuring all income is accounted for correctly; produce monthly debtor statements; credit control and following up any outstanding debts; receive authorised creditor invoices, ensure correctly coded and entering into SAGE 200 (accounting system); payment of creditor invoices in a timely fashion either by BACS or cheque; producing regular bank statements and performing bank reconciliations; accurate cash flow forecasting; preparation of annual accounts; liaising with External Advisers, Bank Manager and other professionals when necessary; manage planning and reporting processes and contribute to the effective management of budget monitoring systems. Highly able Administrator and Commercial Manager, who can demonstrate imagination and creativity; proven track record of working successfully in complex organisations over a number of years; able to demonstrate a commitment to working in the Charity sector; prior knowledge of SAGE 200; competent to a high level in computer systems; self-managing and effective use of a range of office and management software.
