Job description
A truly exciting opportunity has been created for a qualified Accountant to take on a No.1 role as Finance Director for a high growth SME organisation. Working within a niche engineering organisation you will support the Senior Management team and in particular the Managing Director in achieving their operational goals while managing an existing team of 4 staff. Your remit of responsibilities will include: managing and developing relationships with banks, investors and external accountancy organisations; development and control over the medium to long-term business planning; ensuring all monthly management information is presented within agreed timescales; ensuring new and existing internal projects are delivered within budget and timescales; supporting in acquisition strategies and other growth plans; challenge, influence and develop relationships with stakeholders across the business. Our client is seeking a credible, strong leader of people with a strong desire and proven experience of supporting an organisation across a broad spectrum of responsibilities whilst remaining strongly focused on the financials. It is also essential the candidate has a career history gained within at least one of the following industry sectors: engineering, construction or manufacturing.
