Job description

My client is a branded international Retailer, established in Thailand since the late 1990s. With 93 stores in Bangkok and a further 60+ stores across other areas of the country the business now has revenues in excess of £50 million. I am currently seeking an interim Finance Director for a period of 3-6 months to work closely with the Asia Regional Managing Director and to provide leadership and management of the Finance function whilst a permanent Finance Director is recruited. You will be expected to drive strong financial controls and processes as well as lead the Finance team to deliver management information. Your key responsibilities will include: the preparation of the annual 3 year business plan, budget and forecasts; preparation of monthly management accounts and annual audited financial statements; working with the Board & management team to ensure that the budgeted financial performance is delivered; treasury (treasury policies, treasury planning, funding needs etc); local taxation policies as well as tax compliance including filing requirements in order to minimise tax cost where appropriate; cost accounting and financial analysis. The successful candidate will have held Finance Director or other relevant senior finance roles within a multinational environment and possess international experience. You will have first-class communication skills and Thai language skills would be an advantage.
