Job description
Robert Half Management Resources is currently recruiting an interim Finance Director for a small privately owned business in Birmingham. As their Finance Director has stepped into a non-finance role they need someone to cover the Finance role until they find a long-term replacement. For this role, you will be a qualified Accountant who has a proven track record of working as a Finance Director. You will ideally have had exposure to multi-currency issues and be used to working in a manufacturing environment. You will be working as part of a Senior Management team and as such you will be comfortable not only working within finance but also working with operational Managers and Directors. You will have strong system skills, as the systems they currently utilise are basic and therefore lack basic controls. You must therefore have very strong Excel skills. You must be immediately available and be able to commit to at least three months. Salary offered is up to £250 per day. Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions. Robert Half is committed to equal opportunity and diversity. Suitable candidates with equivalent qualifications and more or less experience can apply.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
