Job description
Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Director for a profitable and growing £40m turnover travel business with offices in Brighton, East Sussex. You will be a fully qualified accountant with experience of working within the travel or aviation sectors as well as strong leadership and management skills. This is a well rounded Finance Director opportunity requiring the individual to manage a team of ten staff who take responsibility for the financial and commercial aspects of finance. Working closely with the MD and the rest of the Senior Management Team you will be expected to business partner and provide commercial support, advice and financial direction on the performance of the business. You will also play a leading role in developing the revenue and yield management aspects of the fixed asset and commitment elements of the business. You will also work closely with the commercial team, identifying revenue optimisation opportunities. Other aspects of the post include: risk and business controls, reporting, budgeting and 5 year planning, cash reporting, forecasting and hedging, financial control and balance sheets, cost control and ad-hoc projects and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Finance Director or an ambitious and committed Financial Controller or Manager looking to step up and further their career in an expanding and respected company.
