Job description
Oasis Dental Care is a successful PE funded multi-branch dentistry Service Provider, turning over in excess of £100m. Profitable and liquid, with a strong Leadership team, they have forged a unique ‘hub and spoke’ business model, strong brand equity and a reputation for service excellence. They seek an incisive and proactive interim No.2 to the Group FD and Commercial Director to act as Head of Finance and Company Secretary and underpin him at Board meetings. The role is business wide, being responsible for all external/internal reporting ie forecasts and budgets, monthly/annual accounts with a remit to provide robust financial controls, fiscal compliance and accurate timely reports. The requirement extends across cost control, liquidity/working capital and profitability issues re margins, mix and yield including special project support and wider stake-holder interests. You are a graduate qualified Accountant (probably Big 4) and are immediately available. You possess Board level exposure in a highly commercial environment (PE/Commercial Finance experience would be advantageous). You can get under the figures to monitor and review the business drives/KPIs and have hopefully seen a consolidated multi-site/branch application. The tenure is notionally for six months, but the desire is for an immediate start, and a healthy handover and may be extended if needs arise.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
