Job description

An urgent requirement for an interim Finance Director exists to provide sickness cover. The role is initially being offered on a 6-month basis, however, this may be extended. Reporting to the Chief Executive, this role is responsible for the strategic financial development & management of all financial & IT matters. You will be responsible for the provision of timely analysis of key financial & commercial matters as well as support and make recommendations to the Board in order to achieve the organisations targets. Specific duties include: production of the annual budget, review and interpret cash flow, oversee and ensure production of the statutory reports and accounts and providing direction and guidance to both the Finance & IT functions. Interested applicants will be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with relevant experience at Director Level. You will be able to demonstrate long-term strategic resource planning, performance management, efficiency improvement and cost control and finally, managing organisations and departments through major change. This role is offered on a part-time basis of 4 days per week.
