Job description
As Finance Director, you will be expected to provide financial leadership to the Royal Mint and as a key member of the Executive Management team you will contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the organisation. Additionally, you will provide professional advice regarding the implications of strategic and operational policies, commercial plans, major contracts and capital projects. You will be a graduate calibre qualified Accountant, probably ACA qualified, with a demonstrable track record of successfully driving growth and positive change. As a commercial finance professional you will be comfortable getting involved in all areas of a business and be capable of generating ideas and challenging the status quo. The culture of the Royal Mint would suit an individual with an open management style who is comfortable working in a non-hierarchical environment. The Royal Mint makes all of the UK's coinage and is known across the world for the high quality of its coins and its heritage, craftsmanship and artistry. The Royal Mint is also the world's leading export mint supplying over 100 issuing authorities across the world with around a 16% share of the global market. Package: £110,000 per annum plus bonus and pension. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
