Job description
A fast growing Mobile Telecommunications is seeking an interim Finance Director to manage all aspects of country financials, with the overall aim of adding value in the supply of commercial support and business information to meet internal customer demand, establishing financial systems and reporting processes to improve transaction processing and management information within associated budgetary and legal constraints. Working with a number of key internal and external stakeholders, this is a hands-on role involving overseeing, managing and directing the UK Mobile Finance team in the delivery of timely financial information, decision support and systems implementation issues. This is a key appointment, a broad Group Control function and as such requires excellent technical competency and expertise across reporting, business planning and financial systems. Interested candidates will be able to display demonstrable experience in the above areas, having previously operated at FD level within a Telecommunications business (ideally mobile) including management and development of effective finance teams within a fast growing and changing commercial environment. You will be commercially astute and well versed in working within a complex matrix structured environment with a proven track record in managing financial control systems and processes, as well as full involvement in decision-making around the audit process, identifying and implementing cost savings where appropriate.
