Job description

We are currently working with a rapidly expanding Education business, which is looking to succession plan and bring in a strong Finance Director to help continue the growth of the business. This is a highly profitable multi-site UK business looking to grow throughout the UK as well as expand into Europe. The initial focus of the role will be on upgrading the systems, processes and controls within the Finance function in order to enable quick and successful growth both organically and through acquisitions. Heading up the Finance department, you will need to take charge of the growth and work closely with the board in targeting new acquisitions as well as organising the integration. As such, this is a very operational and commercial role. You will also be expected to manage the development of group strategy and business planning while keeping a close eye on the cash management of the business. In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with experience of working within an SME and growing it. You will need to have a good track record of upgrading systems and processes and working within an education business or a similar multi-site industry. If this is of interest, please submit your CV quoting reference: TA-JSD27.
