Job description
Finance Director:- Our client is a profitable, long standing £30m family-run business in the Fashion Import/Manufacturing/Retail Supply sector with an enviable client list across the blue chip high street multiples. The company has ambitious plans to increase its product offering and, with a strong Management Team in sales and production, is also well positioned to increase its market share. To aid this expansion, the company is looking to appoint an accomplished Finance Director with experience in the import/distribution/retail supply sectors. Reporting to the MD, the new Finance Director will have responsibility for:- (i) hands-on supervision of an FC and a small finance team providing quality management information, budgets, cash flow forecasts and working capital management (ii) maintaining strong relationships with banks, suppliers, professional advisors and across all departments in the company (iii) strategic and commercial input across all areas of the business, supporting sales, production, supply chain, HR, IT etc. You will be an experienced Finance Director, highly credible, with a track record of success in a similar sector. You will need an enquiring mind and be able to cast an inquisitive eye across the business, effecting change and contributing to the bottom line. You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA) with a thoughtful measured approach and a diplomatic management style. Prospects are excellent for the new Finance Director in this long established business.
