Job description
A Manufacturing and Distribution group based in Chichester has an opportunity for a proactive, commercially focussed Finance Director to Manager the strategic development of the UK business. Reporting to the Managing Director, the key responsibilities of the position will include undertaking full responsibility of the Finance function to ensure the business is provided with key financial information in a timely and accurate manner; working with the Senior Management team to review business opportunities including reviewing contract proposals; managing external relationships; improving efficiency throughout the wider business as a whole by reviewing internal processes and controls. Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full professional accountancy qualification, with previous experience of working within a No.1 role for a UK division. Candidates who speak a second European language, ideally French or German, will have an advantage. In return the client can offer an excellent package.
