Job description
A leading multinational business with market leading operations based worldwide is seeking to recruit a Finance Director within a high profile area of the business. Based in Bonn, Germany, reporting to the Managing Director, the individual is required to lead the Finance team to not only deliver management information & strong financial controls, but also be an active member of the local management team to deliver the business objectives. Strong interpersonal skills as well as technical ability are required in order to work with the Board and Management team to ensure that the budgeted financial performance is delivered. Some responsibilities will include: management of working capital needs to be ensured that bad debt risk is kept to a minimum; formulation of local financial policies within the overall Group framework; to assist in the development of the business strategy and changes to the business operating model; responsible for the preparation of the annual 3 year business plan, budgets and forecasts; participation and support in M&A activity is needed together with project and investment analysis; oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual audited financial statements; responsibility for cost accounting, financial analysis, treasury and local taxation policies. We are seeking a bilingual individual in German and English, with demonstrable finance and international experience in a similar level position. Travel may be required from this analytical, business minded individual with strong communication and leadership skills to lead the Finance function.
