Job description
Astute Recruitment has another urgent Finance Director appointment to offer. Due to promotion an international global business (t/o c3 billion Euros worldwide) is looking for an exceptional commercially minded Finance Director for their multi-sited UK operation (UK t/o c£100m). Working in partnership with the MD & Senior Management team to sustain & further develop new strategies. You will be operationally hands-on with a broad range of commercial skills to be fully involved strategically in the business & mentor a dynamic team. This is not a technical Finance Director role instead my client is looking for someone potentially able to grow into a UK MD position in a few years time. You should be able to demonstrate proven experience within manufacturing & genuinely enjoy working within the manufacturing sector. You will have an excellent eye for detail & be someone looking for a strategic commercial opportunity to determine, develop & deliver business improvements. My client is particularly interested in candidates for whom this will be a move as a Finance Director or a proven FC with the relevant capabilities. This role will involve a fairly high degree of UK travel to the other UK manufacturing facilities (less than 5) & some overseas travel.
