Job description
This established business is viewing the future with renewed optimism. A realignment of commercial strategy to better suit the needs of a market where the customer £ has been under severe pressure has led to improvements in their trading position. Reporting to the Chief Executive this is a key role within a small executive team.The Role: Take control of finance function and ensure robust systems, processes and controls are in place which secures the integrity of information outputs. Participate fully in effective decision making on retail trading and other operational activity with the objective of improving margin and driving down costs. Manage all aspects of warehouse and distribution function.The Candidate: Graduate calibre, qualified accountant with minimum 3 years experience in a retail wholesale or distribution environment. Able to demonstrate successful track record in adding value to business operations. Energetic, detail conscious, first class interpersonal skills.
