Job description

Finance Director
Gloucestershire
£75-80k + equity potential

The Company

A dynamic, fast-growing start-up operating in both the B2B and B2C service arenas.

The Role

This is a very hands-on Finance Director role that will require you to oversee the implementation of robust financial controls, systems and processes, the establishment of insightful MI and performance reporting and to take responsibility for strong cash flow management. In addition, you will work with the board to set and drive strategic direction and ensure that the business is well positioned to meet its ambitious growth plans. Future growth is likely to involve potential joint ventures or new start-ups that diversify the service offering to their customers.

The Person

This role would ideally suit a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) experienced Financial Controller or Finance Director (Divisional or of an SME) from a high transaction volume service environment, including, but not limited to, Telecommunication, Energy or Utilities. You must have plenty of hands-on experience, especially around controls, systems and cash flow management. Experience in a privately-owned or VC backed business would be advantageous but is not essential whilst previous experience in a start-up operation would be of significant interest.
