Job description
This is a wide ranging and demanding role that encompasses financial control and management, planning, process and systems improvement plus a high level of involvement in identifying commercial opportunities and developing future growth for the group. Specific duties will include: managing the day-to-day financial operations of the group; cash management, including producing daily cash reports; producing and developing monthly management information and presenting at board meetings; working closely with other board members to appraise and develop new business ideas. The role demands someone with additional skills on top of finance, notably an individual who can add real value to a business and contribute to the future growth plans by helping to develop commercial and strategic direction. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a track record of adding value to a business through their commercial acumen. All applicants must be a fully qualified Accountant, holding a recognised CCAB qualification.
