Job description

Our client is a small niche but extremely successful private equity funded business that is looking for a Controller with a very ‘hands-on’ approach, who is ready to step up to the challenge of FD. Reporting to the CEO, managing a small team, this high profile and profitable business, needs someone who can work in and deal with a business and team that is growing rapidly. This is a broad hands-on role that encompasses all aspects of the day-to-day finance operations: Revenue and Expense accounting as well as Management and statutory reporting and all aspects of compliance. Budget/forecast processes as well as providing decision support analysis and cash flow and treasury management. Providing all the necessary commercial input to support the Board and stakeholders. You must be a qualified Accountant with good academics and demonstrable career progression. Prior experience in a well managed business-to-business environment, someone familiar with revenue recognition issues would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will either; already be a Finance Director or will be ready to step up to their first Senior Executive position, but above all they must have had solid hands-on Financial Controller experience with a broad range of appropriate skills.
