Job description
An opportunity for a driven and ambitious Finance Director has arisen within a £30m t/o manufacturing division of a leading UK PLC. As a key part of the Executive Management team your responsibilities will be to develop a strong environment of financial control across the business with particular emphasis on cash and working capital management, and to manage and drive the Finance function, ultimately taking responsibility for all aspects of financial and management reporting. Ideally you will: be an ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified Accountant with previous experience as a Finance Director within the manufacturing sector; be a hands-on individual with experience of driving ‘business improvement projects’ as well as overseeing financial and management reporting; be very commercially minded with experience of liaising with legal and financial advisors on transactions. In return you will: be rewarded with an excellent salary and benefits package; have the opportunity to work within a challenging but extremely rewarding business environment. This £30m t/o specialist manufacturing business has enjoyed successful growth, going from strength to strength as part of a leading UK PLC. The business has further ambitious growth plans involving new product ranges and now requires an experienced, commercially minded Finance Director who will support business growth by providing financial leadership and supporting strategic decision-making.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
