Job description
A key role in the largest of the 11 geographic regions of the UK, the Finance Director holds responsibility for the financial direction and performance measurement of the region as a member of the regional Leadership team. In support of the Regional Operations Director, this role delivers a highly professional and thorough framework of financial management, control and planning to the Regional team, ensuring that advice given and actions taken deliver performance and the transformation of operations through their people. You must be CCAB qualified with a proven track record of achievement within a large (£300m+) organisation. It is not essential for you to have had previous No. 1 experience but you must be able to guide colleagues and staff with no financial background in their understanding of financial and budget management. This together with experience of leadership of a skilled and professional team, providing a clear direction and focus and also capable of precise and well-argued judgement must be demonstrated. My client is one of the UK's best-known business services brands, offering salary circa £70,000-£80,000 plus benefits.
