Job description
An excellent career opportunity has arisen for a worldwide leading Insurance broker based in central London. The vacancy of Financial Director will be reporting directly into the Divisional CFO, where you will be expected to work closely with the business, in particular the senior executives, in order to build upon the financial integrity of the business and report on all financial matters to senior management. Key vacancy responsibilities: senior finance business partner to global management; optimise divisional performance through ownership of all aspects of the divisional profit and loss and balance sheet; preparation of budgets and quarterly reporting packs for Senior Management; attendance at various divisional meetings to report on finance matters; review of contracts to ensure the correct application of accounting principals; review and authorisation of client funding and bad debt issues; design and implementation of local controls to ensure efficient and accurate business operations are in place; development of broking system management information for strategic marketing purposes. Person Specification: qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) PQE; credible and responsive to all senior management; exemplary at both planning and organising; have strong business analytical skills; insurance experience highly desirable.
