Job description

My client, renowned PR firm based in the City is seeking a Qualified FD to cover maternity. This role is initially for a six month period but could be extended beyond this. Reporting to the two Deputy CEOs and the European Commercial Director, this person will be a key member of the Strategy Board, responsible for all financial aspects of the business, as well as making a significant contribution to the commercial success of the company. The duties include: overseeing monthly US financial reporting and helping with quarterly International Reporting Pack all in accordance with US GAAP; providing detailed explanations to Worldwide CFO either alone or with other senior Board members; particularly in giving early indications of trends and signals of upcoming issues and opportunities; attending weekly Strategy Board meetings; preparing the Financial Executive Summary for the Management Board; attending monthly Management Board meetings and updating on finance matters; presenting the financial information at monthly office meetings; preparing monthly new business pipeline reports to the US; completing quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley testing; preparing the annual statutory accounts. You will ideally be: qualified Accountant Knowledge of US GAAP. Ideally held a senior finance role within an international media agency. A highly motivated performance driven individual strong commercial acumen.
