Job description

My client is a small, yet high profile Charity. The role is a support services and Finance Director contributing fully to the Senior Management team meetings driving strategic change through the charity. This role will ensure reporting & budgeting is performed on a timely basis, all costs are controlled within the budget, overview the production of the monthly management accounts, oversee the monthly re-forecast, maintain a healthy cash flow for the charity and ensure the charity complies with legal & accounting regulations. In addition, this role will oversee the IT division, ensuring all IT processes minimise routine administration & cost, ensure all systems are streamlined and liaise with the website and database supplier. This role will oversee four reports and will involve presenting results to the trustee's. The suitable candidate will be qualified with experience in a hands-on role running a Finance function and working closely with senior management in a confident manner. You must have strong IT skills and experience as well as being a qualified Accountant. Charity background would be an advantage but is not essential.
