Job description
Our client is one of the most successful & highly respected Financial institutions in existence, with a world-class operation in investment banking, trading, asset management & insurance. There is the requirement for a senior finance resource to take ownership for all capital investment activity, planning, analysis, reporting & decision support related to the firm’s real estate portfolio. Reporting to the EMEA CFO, you’ll: lead the EMEA Project Accounting teams to ensure high quality management reporting for all investment projects, driving all related planning & forecasting, advising all internal real estate clients on financial issues; maintain effective controls over all projects, working closely with CRE team to ensure projects are specified appropriately; ensure accounting standard applied consistently across all locations; play an active role in the Regional Management team for the workplace group. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced qualified Accountant with significant prior exposure to construction & property development to join a leading global banking group & add significant value to the management of their real estate cost control & capital expenditure. You will possess natural leadership skills & be familiar with real estate investment appraisal techniques as well as project control accounting. You’ll be able to develop & manage effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders & possess outstanding communication & presentation skills.
