Job description
As a key member of the Senior Management team you will be responsible for the Financial Management of the Charity. Functions to include: provision of close support to Chief Executive; liaison with the Trustees; management of the accounts department; strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting; corporate governance; relations with External Auditors; relations with bankers; maintenance of risk register; establishment of commercial and contractual arrangements; cash flow management; fund-raising. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant having been part of the Senior Management team of a charitable organisation. Personal qualities will include leadership skills, empathy with the objectives of the charity and communication skills for liaison with colleagues, management of personnel and connecting with potential donors.
