Job description

BTG Finance and Accounting is currently representing a privately owned services business in its search for an experienced Finance Director to work in its offices located not far from central Manchester. The successful candidate will ideally be ACA qualified from a Top 10 practice although consideration will be given to outstanding candidates who have either a CIMA or ACCA qualification. It is essential that you have both a financial and commercial background and have the ability to work within a high-pressured target driven environment. Strong people management skills will also be necessary as will the ability to make tough business decisions as and when they occur. The role will involve: production of group management accounts; preparation of business plans financial modelling; liaising with Auditors, professional bodies etc; actively looking to gain investment within the company development of financial strategy; supervision of a small Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to come into an organisation and work closely with the Managing Director in taking the business forward and increasing both investment and profitability. Salary for this position is £50,000 - £70,000 plus excellent benefits package including car/car allowance and comprehensive bonus scheme.
