Job description
This lead role, reporting to the Managing Partner and supervising two members of staff, will see you acting as the financial interface with Lawyers and the firm’s clients. Responsibilities include: producing the management accounts; overseeing AP, AR, VAT processing; billing and other accounting as well as being instrumental in refining and enforcing accounting controls and procedures. Candidates will be qualified with experience in a law firm (with a strong understanding of Solicitor's Accounts rules). This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and versatile Accountant to join a firm whose UK Office has almost doubled in size over two years and has plans to further expand over the coming years, in a value-adding, highly visible and challenging role. Candidates trained with a Big 4 firm would be of particular interest but my client will also consider CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountants (or equivalent) with strong management accounting and people management experience.
