Job description
Due to expansion plans within the international markets, this global FMCG client has a challenging and varied opportunity for a fully qualified Finance Director to join its team and play a pivotal role in the drive for international growth. Supporting the Managing Director and reporting to the CFO based overseas, you will be required to deliver the financial targets of the business and ensure that fully operational reporting and accounting environment is delivered and maintained. This is a very hands-on and varied role all-round role, which will include all of the following duties: in conjunction with the MD and Regional Directors, prepare annual budgets and deliver long-term strategic plans to drive growth; partnering with MD and key business contacts internally and externally; financial input in the negotiation of contracts with third parties; preparation of statutory financial accounts; delivery of management accounts on a monthly basis (including balance sheet/cash flow/P&L); providing internal reports to non-finance peers to assist in tracking business performance. In the near future there will also be a roll out of SAP, and previous experience of this is highly desirable. To apply for this role, you must be a fully qualified, experienced, Senior Finance Manager from an FMCG/distribution background. You must have entitlement to work, without restriction in the UK and be able to travel internationally approximately 10% of your time.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
