Job description
Our client is an SME business with multiple services/businesses in the Group. The owner of the business is now looking to add a strong Technical Accountant to the Management team - qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. The role will control all aspects of production of management accounts including bank reconciliation, supervising a small team and credit control. More so, the incoming Accountant will be the main point of contact for External Advisors and funders, interacting daily with the rest of the Management Board. The business is well funded and has a strong trading history yet as with any SME business it will be looking for a candidate who has a background in tightly cash managed businesses and a personality, which is strong enough to work in what is a gritty, owner managed business. The incoming Finance Director will not be afraid to improve processes and challenge current systems etc.
