Job description

The Finance Director will have overall responsibility for two sites based in Swindon and the Manchester region and teams across both locations. Duties and responsibilities will include: working closely with MD to deliver operational goals and financial integrity; liaise with operational management teams to ensure provision of detailed management and financial information; provision of group data and reporting to US parent company; ensuring integrity of UK accounts and regulatory returns; oversee the monthly accounts pack production; development of accounting systems and procedures, particularly through enhancement of SUN accounting system and improvement of interfaces with legacy systems and databases. We are seeking applications from qualified Accountants who bring a broad balance of technical and commercial skills. Due to the impending departure of the current incumbent, the ability to start at short notice would be very advantageous. You will be comfortable delivering change and seek continual improvements. Strong communication and presentation skills are a prerequisite. Previous experience of US GAAP beneficial though not essential. Strong systems skills beneficial.
