Job description
I am currently looking to recruit a Finance Director for a period of 3 months. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll take responsibility for all aspects of the financial management of this particular division. Working closely with members of the board as well as the Group FC & Group FD, you will be required to provide leadership & direction to the Divisional Finance team, drive the development of appropriate processes and systems & provide financial support & analysis for new business ventures & commercial opportunities. Key duties: contribute to the achievement of Divisional objectives by providing advice& guidance on financial strategy; manage & produce robust divisional financial reports in order to review performance; identify cost saving opportunities & drive process & system improvement activity; produce forecasts for commercial opportunities & future business growth; lead on the analysis of revenue & profit streams to drive improved financial performance across the business; deliver financial activity in compliance with Group requirements & its legal responsibilities; contribute to the delivery of divisional turnover and COP targets Lead & direct the Divisional Finance team to ensure optimal operational efficiencies. Ideally you will have previous worked in a Finance Director position for a £50million+ company or division & have experience of reporting to a larger group. Exposure to construction, contracting or facilities management, would bean advantage.
