Job description
An instantly recognisable TV organisation requires an operationally focused Finance Director position to head up the team due to internal promotion. Managing a team, the position will have responsibility for the EMEA region and will work closely with Operational teams to help maximise efficiency across the region. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and operating at a Controller/Director level, be in an operationally focused role and used to working extensively with global non-finance Managers. Day-to-day you will be responsible for finance and business operations including all subsidiary activities. You will set budgets and follow up with Managers regarding adjustments and then provide support to Territory Managers. You will support territorial operational decisions, understanding the financial implications ensuring Managers are aware of any risks. Working with the Finance team you will have ultimate responsible for all financial activity including financial and management reporting, compliance, audit and Sarbanes-Oxley control. VAT compliance and reporting, treasury and year end Audit will be managed effectively and you will be responsible for any HMRC liaison. You will also be responsible for payroll and pension accounting ensuring all legislation is adhered to. The role will involve numerous ad hoc projects and will require an individual who is used to multitasking and building effective and strong relationships globally; excellent opportunity to join a global business with a relaxed environment and to work with a dedicated team.
