Job description

This UK subsidiary of an international Group is a fast-moving manufacturing and import business that sells its wide range of products into the UK Retail marketplace. It employs circa 250 people, is situated in the West Midlands and has a £40 million+ turnover. The company now requires a high quality, ambitious Finance professional to join the executive team, reporting locally to the Chief Executive. He/she will proactively support and advise the Chief Executive on all financially related matters. His/her key responsibilities will include managing the Finance team, the provision of all financial and management information including all financial plans and forecasts and the management of the Annual Budget process. Other responsibilities will include the management of working capital/cash/treasury and statutory accounting. He/she will preferably be a graduate-calibre, qualified accountant who will have a manufacturing background and be used to commercially supporting and influencing the MD. He/she will be proactive and have strategic vision with strong man-management and motivational skills. High energy levels, a challenging approach, outstanding communication and persuasive skills and the ability to establish a partnership approach across the Business are other key attributes.
