Job description
A Finance Director is required for a division of a successful Manufacturing business in Central Birmingham. The plant in question, which has turnover in the region of £120m has recently had a large injection of capital which has enabled it to take on a significant amount of work from two other sites. A new MFGPro system has also recently been installed. As such the business is looking for an experienced Controller/Director to run the Finance team of 8 staff, support the locally based Plant Manager. You will have the capability to stand in for the Plant Manager if required. You will be a fully qualified Accountant ideally of graduate calibre. You will have worked in a No.1 finance role previously within a significantly sized manufacturing plant. Supporting Operational and Commercial teams will be second nature as will areas such as product costing, waste management and product pricing. You will be systems savvy and be able to give tangible examples which back up your experience of the above. Our client is a large, profitable division of a listed manufacturing group. The position has come about due to an internal restructure which further underlines this organisation's commitment to its staff and the promotion of the best and brightest throughout the world.
