Job description

My client, a VC backed niche retail business that has rapidly grown since its inception 5 years ago, is looking for a Finance Director to support the future growth plans. Being the first no 1 Finance Director within the organisaton this role will encompass full responsibility for all finance activities, including and setting up all processes and procedures combined with corporate finance and liaising with banks. You will have the opportunity to formulate a new fin function as the company achieves its growth plans. This role would be ideal for a candidate looking to step into their first number one FD role, you will be both hands on, and have the ability to offer strategic direction and operate at board level. Specific industry experience is not required however you must be able to demonstrate an ability to work within an entrepreneurial environment. You will have excellent academics, and most likely ACA qualified from a Big 4 firm with first time passes.
