Job description
Our client, a growing international business, is looking to appoint an ambitious, commercially astute Finance Director to support the Managing Director by providing commercial support and elevating the financial performance of the business. Key accountabilities will include: executing strategies for growth and business efficiencies; identifying revenue optimisation opportunities; implementing robust financial controls and mitigating risk; mentoring and coaching a Finance team that includes reports in Europe; monthly reporting and delivering budgets/long-term plans; enhancing cash reporting and understanding the cash position within the business; foreign currency hedging; reviewing capital expenditure; completing statutory accounts and undertaking ad hoc projects when required. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and very much on the upward curve. Applicants must possess an excellent academic record of achievement and proven analytical skills. You must have both the intellect and presence of mind to construct relationships and successfully challenge/influence stakeholders.
