Job description
Reporting to the MD and a Board position, this is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Finance Director from the SME market. You will manage all the Finances and the company secretarial for this £10m t/o business, as well as HR. Specific responsibilities include: business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management reporting and full control & development of policies, systems, processes and managing a team of 2 transactional staff; reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts; manage the company insurance, import/export administration, licensing, contracts and agreements and legal areas and activities; manage all the company HR activities, including contracts of employment, salary structures and management of payroll; dealing with external agencies ie Auditors and Banks; duties of company secretarial. The candidate: we are looking for a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience of running a finance department (in a very hands-on role), who has got HR experience (full responsibility) and ideally company secretarial; someone who has set up new policies and procedures would be highly regarded; SME background is essential. The company: my client is a manufacturing SME in Wolverhampton. Salary and benefits: salary £45k - £50k plus excellent profit share, car and pension. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
