Divisional Finance Director

Sanderson Group Plc is an AIM-listed provider of Software solutions and IT services. Sanderson supplies innovative, market-focused solutions, primarily to the multi-channel retail and manufacturing sectors. With turnover of £25m and over 270 employees, Sanderson is a profitable business and an established Business Partner to small and medium sized enterprises throughout the UK.

The Role
As Divisional Finance Director you will be based in Sheffield and will be responsible for all aspects of accounting in respect of two subsidiary companies within the Sanderson Group. The role will encompass close liaison with subsidiary management teams to provide data, guidance and financial input as they pursue their business strategies. You will also be responsible for managing an established Finance team and ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial and management reporting. Reporting to the Group FD you would also provide support on strategic projects.

The Candidate
The preferred candidate will be a qualified Accountant, ideally ACA, with a background in a commercial organisation and an excellent record of achievement to date. Experience gained with a public company in a Group finance function would be an advantage. You will have a sound knowledge of financial reporting and technical accounting issues, strong leadership qualities and excellent communication and motivational skills, as well as a can-do attitude.
