Job description
Our client is a global, FTSE listed Real Estate Advisory business. The company seeks a German-speaking, commercially driven Finance Director to coordinate Swiss Finance functions for this very large division. Reporting to the local MD, the successful candidate will continually review the operational structure of the Swiss business, whilst developing and maintaining strategic relationships with new and existing clients, actively seeking new business opportunities and examining feedback for opportunities to improve. You will have overall responsibility for resource and people management, including costing and ensuring correct procedures are followed. You will also have ultimate responsibility for a large range of finance projects and P&L, B/S and budget delivery, liaising with Business Unit Managers in preparation for group reporting. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant, comfortable and experienced in a commercial environment with excellent communication skills. Fluency in German and English is essential, with any other European languages a distinct advantage.
