Job description
A leading, successful European company require an experienced preferably qualified Accountant (QBE considered) who is looking to develop their career in a manufacturing, sales and marketing environment. The company have strong international links with Austria, Germany and Poland with each manufacturing operation specialising in a specific product range within its own geographical area. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and prepared to recommend and implement improvements to systems and operations within recognised constraints of a multi-site, international organisation. The candidate will posses the ability to communicate to all levels of technical and non-technical staff within the company. It skills must include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Navision; fluency of German is desirable but not essential. Responsibilities will include: day-to-day control of the financial models within the ERP system; cash management; preparing weekly and monthly MI reports; analysis of the financials for use at Board level; budgets; variance analysis; Capex project evaluations; preparing statutory accounts and liaising with the Company Auditors.
