Job description
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join our client, a well established Retail organisation based in Bracknell. Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager job will include: manages team of 4 and relationship with Business Service Centre (BSC) based in Budapest; responsible for UK financial accounting, statutory and tax reporting. Financial accounting is split between the UK and BSC with P2P also contained at the BSC, although there is no direct responsibility for P2P this has a dotted line into the Finance Manager; responsible for month end closing and Group reporting requirements as well as explaining key drivers of results to FC; supervision of company cash flow and financing arrangements for fleet purchases ensuring compliance with contract covenants. Key requirement is ensuring timely reporting of cash flow and month end discussions; relationship with FP&A to ensure alignment of plan and actuals; ensures internal financial controls are effective. The ideal Finance Manager will possess the following attributes/skills: PQE; Ex-practice; experience of Commercial/Operational business; excellent academics and interpersonal skills; knowledge of statutory reporting, cash flow and VAT; US GAAP an advantage; Oracle an advantage.
