Job description
With primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable & Cash Reconciliation teams, the successful applicant will be joining a market leading business that has grown significantly over the last five years as a result of winning numerous high profile contracts. Your core remit will be to ensure the accuracy of transaction processing, managing a medium sized team with ownership for all centralised accounts payable ledgers specifically with regard to payment to suppliers, processing of invoices, creation of orders & reconciliation of complex supplier statements. Key areas upon which your success will be measured include the timely & efficient payment of invoices by your team, the efficient management of domestic & international bank accounts & the development of your team in order to widen individual experience & skill-sets. It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of working with all areas of a typical Finance function, along with a good deal of supervisory experience & the ability to communicate at all levels. You’ll ideally have been involved in a purchase to pay review in the past & have the breadth of experience to be able to illustrate process development & efficiency improvements directly associated with your influence. The business is a multimillion-pound turnover organisation operating in a growth sector across a number of countries.
