Job description
This dynamic, entrepreneurial Financial Services & Investment business is itself a division of a leading global Fund Management group. Unprecedented organic growth & strategic business acquisitions have ensured that the group continues to experience ongoing expansion & development across a number of key markets including Europe. As a result, a high profile entry point has arisen for a proactive Finance Manager to support the start-up of a UK & Ireland division. This is an ‘end-to-end role’ with responsibility for all aspects of SPV operations including business performance & analysis, financial & management accounting, trust distributions, regulatory compliance & statutory reporting. Your brief includes: support the establishment of financial & operating procedures for the SPV; review of SPV balance sheet, profit & loss accounts & cash flow; preparation and review of investor reporting and cash distribution to investors; liaison with Asset & Investment Management team, investors & external service providers; providing board reporting packs on all SPVs; in-depth analysis of SPV & Operating company performance, trends & variances; supporting business planning, forecasting & budgeting process. As a qualified Accountant ACA or ACCA, having trained within a Big 4, Top 20 firm or Corporate Plc, you will demonstrate strong technical & statutory accounting experience alongside a commercial focus. The role demands an eye for detail, the energy to add immediate value.
