Head of Management Reporting
The Hut Group is the UK’s leading multi-product, multi-website Online Retailer with rapidly growing international operations. As a result of exceptional sustained growth, and planned future expansion including international growth, we seek a high calibre, ambitious finance professional to join us as Finance Manager.
As Finance Manager you will play a vital role in the production of monthly, quarterly and annual group management accounts. You will manage a small team and take the lead in producing high-quality information based on consolidated group figures. Other duties will include:
- Producing monthly group management accounts and analysing them vs the forecast, budget and prior year to provide proper commentaries to senior management and the board.
- Leading the group budgeting and forecasting process.
- Assisting with the design and implementation of a reporting system to review and consolidate P&L management reports across the group.
About you
This is a highly visible and important role within an established Finance team. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven, hands-on experience of management reporting in a large and complex business. You will be analytical, quick to grasp the fundamentals of a business and have strong communication skills. You must have excellent Excel skills and familiarity with consolidation packages. The department works to tight reporting deadlines in a multinational business environment and as such you must be able to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-moving and changeable environment.

It established its in-house technology platform in 2006 and subsequently launched and acquired a range of retail sites entering entertainment in 2009, fashion in 2009, gifting and health & beauty in 2010 and sports nutrition in 2011.
