Job description
A major Financial Services organisation is seeking to recruit an interim Finance Manager within its Statutory Reporting team. As a qualified Accountant (Big 4 training and FS/Insurance experience would be fantastic, though consideration will be given to candidates out with this) your responsibility will include the production of financial information for internal and external customers of the Finance function. Utilising your ability to work to strict deadlines your main duties will include: meeting statutory and regulatory reporting requirements for a portfolio of entities (including life companies); implementing and developing reporting processes to increase efficiency; coordinate the supply of financial information from a variety of sources; ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley documentation; supporting change initiatives including IFRS Phase II. Ideally you have a proven background of improving processes/designing controls and have a strong knowledge of IFRS and FSA regulations.
