Job description
My client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their charity-based organisation. Previous work within a charitable trust is highly desirable coupled with strong commercial accounting experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic support to the executive board in addition to performing a ‘hands-on’ accounting role. You will be responsible for a complete overhaul of accounting systems and procedures. Additional duties will include assisting with Local Government contract tendering in addition to managing and motivating a small dedicated Accounts team. Experience of Sage would be an advantage but strong Excel skills are highly imperative. My client will also consider full or part-time applications with flexible start and finish times.
