Job description

Business transformation & dept restructuring has created an exciting new role for a technically strong Finance Manager to support the FD. Your brief includes: manage a team of 8 including 2 direct reports; deputise for the FC/FD; manage month end financial close improving processes; review monthly consolidation pack, balance sheet & commentary; review & manage annual financial statements & statutory accounts for year end; develop & implement improved month & year end processes & controls; manage the conversion from UK GAAP to IFRS; investigate & resolve technical accounting issues. As a qualified Accountant having trained within a Big 4/Top 10 firm or large PLC, you will demonstrate strong technical accounting, UK GAAP & IFRS knowledge, alongside management of team and proven experience of implementing accounting best practice & systems improvements.
